What is a Manufactured Home & Park Model Home?
A manufactured home is a large mobile home, typically not moved from its initial location, and built to HUD construction standards. It comes in single, double, or triple wide sizes and can only be installed in a Manufactured Home Community. A park model home, on the other hand, is a recreational vehicle and a smaller, single-wide home that can be placed in RV resorts, campgrounds, or places where smaller trailers are accepted.
Park models have one or two bedrooms, one bathroom, an eat-in kitchen, and a living room, measuring less than 500 sq ft. Being smaller than manufactured homes, they are easier to clean and maintain.
