Jet.com was introduced recently, aiming to rival heavyweight retailers such as Amazon and Costco. The new entrant, Jet, has generated much excitement due to its influential founder and the potential challenge it poses to Amazon and Costco. Its CEO, Marc Lore, who previously sold his highly successful venture, Diapers.com, to Amazon in 2010, embarked on this new journey around two years ago. Up until now, Jet has amassed a significant capital of $220 million in merely a year. “Our product variety is as extensive as Amazon’s, and our pricing structure is akin to a wholesale store and membership,” Lore shared with CNNMoney.
