Mayweather Concludes the Year with a Revenue of $300 Million

The recently retired boxing superstar, Floyd Mayweather Jr., is as formidable in his finances as he was in the ring. In 2015, he humorously strolled to the bank cashing in a whopping $300 million. Forbes reports that before 2015 even commenced, he had already amounted to some $420 million in earnings. When you examine his track record, Mayweather surpassed any other athlete in earning capacity for three out of the last four years. If he were to swap his profession to a hedge-fund manager, he would without a doubt rank amongst the top 20. Mayweather bid farewell to boxing in September when he was 38 years old, and from there, embarked on a worldwide self-indulgent travel spree. Interestingly, he managed to visit 12 far-flung locales in less than a fortnight this month.
