Despite being four months away, Bryant’s final NBA game is already causing a surge in ticket prices. In the 14 hours following his retirement announcement, the cost of tickets for his last game has almost tripled, reaching an average price of $1,388.60, as reported by ticket price tracker TiqIQ.
Even prior to Bryant’s announcement on Sunday evening, tickets were averaging around $478 due to rumors that this might be his final season. Currently, the least costly ticket listed for his April 13 game against the Utah Jazz is priced at $552, while the priciest seat in the house, located right behind the Lakers’ bench, is going for a whopping $11,700.
