In my view, an additional 10-15 minute drive is definitely worth saving $65.

You could save considerable amounts on pet medications by purchasing them from a pharmacy, rather than the vet’s office. Many pet medications have human equivalents, so your local drugstore is likely to stock them.
While it might be slightly less convenient, in the long run, prioritizing savings over convenience pays off. Moreover, with pharmacies like Target or CVS at nearly every corner, it’s not an inconvenient task. You could also look for online options if you prefer having them delivered to your doorstep.
Implement Preventive Measures
While it’s vital that we provide the best for our pets, implementing proper preventive measures can help avoid repeated costly vet visits.
This involves ensuring that your pet gets regular exercise and a balanced diet. Also, taking your pet for annual health check-ups could help detect potential issues before they progress into serious concerns. Keeping your pet vaccinated is also important.
Owning a pet can be pricey; however, spending some extra time doing your research can also help you learn how to save.
